i was born in the late 90s and grew up browsing the internet on my family's computer all throughout the 2000s. for as long as i can remember, i always loved drawing, so naturally, when i discovered anime thanks to a classmate of mine in elementary school, i fell in love with drawing anime art.
since discovering anime, i spent all of my time drawing it while listening to nightcore on youtube, hoping that someday i could draw art just like in those nightcore videos.
as i continued to grow up, i'd spend a lot of time on image boards and forum sites, sharing my art and making friends who also loved to draw.
as i went through school, the only thing i wanted to be was an artist, even with my teachers warning against making it a career. because of their pressure, i attended college aiming to get a degree in information technology, but i wasn't happy. i wasn't passionate about it.
it was thanks to the encouragement of my family and my now-husband who urged me to do what made me really happy: art
i'm now living my childhood dream of doing art fulltime, and happily married to the person who encouraged and believed in me the most.
